Hello once again everyone, I’m Cubastic and it’s the fourth and the final part of I remind you that this is the easiest way of solving, it consists of only two moves, that you constantly need to repeat, there’s nothing difficult and if you came all the way to this part, you’re almost done and I’m really proud of you.
So let’s continue. Well you’ve already learned how to do the white cross, the first layer, the second layer, the yellow cross and to correctly place the corners, you’re almost finished. Now take the cube and the next step will be to put the yellow corners on top, so you’ll have the white side completely solved.
Let’s see how it’s done. First, we turn the cube upside down, so the white side looks up, and it’s the first and the last time we’re doing that. Now we need to pay attention to the corner sover here.
Down and on the right side of the cube. Right here. To move them without destroying everything we’ve got here we need to carefully repeat the same algorithm, just like we did numerous times before.
With the right hand we do R, U, R’, U’. And you repeat it till the yellow part of this corners is facing down. Repeat. Again. The corner still isn’t on it’s place, okay. Now, when the corner is on it’s place we can stop.
Don’t be afraid that the white pieces are scattered all over the cube, to return them safely first we put another yellow corner on this place again.
Our next corner, that should go on it’s place. And continue with the algorithm. Once again, we do that till the yellow corner is facing down.
The white pieces are still scattered all over, but it’s okay, we do everything step by step. We turn the first layer again so the yellow corner is down on the right and continue with the algorithm.
1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 Done.
Now have a look, all of our corners are on their places, so our yellow side is completely solved and everything else is the way it was before, on their places as well. If you did everything correctly you’ll end up with the same result.
Let’s repeat one more time. So we turn the cube, so the white side faces up, yellow cross faces down, and do the same algorithm, repeating until the yellow corner here on the right moves down. Let’s go.
The algorithm, done, the corner isn’t on it’s place, continue, again, one more time, and now, when the corner is on it’s place, we turn the first layer, so the next yellow corner is here again. Be careful and don’t turn other layers and don’t turn the cube itself, you can touch only the first layer with the yellow corner.
That’s the only way to return everything else, that is scattered at the moment. Continue. Done. Now, when the corner is on it’s place, we turn the first layer, so the yellow corner is here again. Continue with the algorithm. Again.
The corner isn’t on it’s place, so were peat, one more time. Now, when the corner is on it’s place, our whole top should be solved. And now pay attention, there’s one scenario, when a lot of people can’t solve the Rubik’s cube during the last step. When your yellow side is solved, there can’t be a situation, when only one corner is turned, so it’s not facing up with the yellow.
It means that you accidentally flipped the corner during your solve and it happens sometimes, when the cube is turning and it mechanically flips by itself.
In this case, when you’re doing the algorithm and yellow is completely solved, everything else will be destroyed. If you’re in a situation like that, don’t panic, just continue doing the algorithm, till everything else is solved, except this corner.
And then just flip it with your fingers. Once again, this is an exceptional scenario, you need to be really careful, because this problem is the reason a lot of people give up. So be cautious.
So, let’s continue. There’s one more formula, that you still need to do. It’s done when you have the whole yellow side solved, the white side, the first two layers, the corners are on their places and the only thing left to do is to swap the edges.
It is done with one algorithm, let’s seethe situations. The easier scenario is there’s three edges ,that need to be swapped.
First we turn the cube, so we face the completely solved side, and the needed edges are on the left, on the back and on the right.
Here’s the algorithm, remember it.
We do the right hand algorithm, then the left hand algorithm, the we do the right hand algorithm 5 times, one, two, three, four, five, and then the left hand algorithm 5 times. One, two, three, four, five. And the cube is magically solved.
This scenario is also possible. After you do the whole formula, one right, one left, 5 right and 5 left, your edges could still be on other places, this means that you just need to repeat the same formula one more time. One right, one left, 5 times right and 5 times left.
It’s only one scenario. The next situation is when we have no completelysolved side faces, so all of the edges are not on their places. To solve this, we just do exactly the same formula on any side.
One, two, five, five. And after that a completely solved side magically appears. And in this case you already know what todo. Take the cube so you face the solved side and repeat the formula.
One time with the right hand, one time with the left, five times the right, 5 times the left.
